It's amazing what turns up on del.icio.us! Today I found this Burka Band in the Afghanistan del.icio.us feed, which is one of the many feeds we are subscribing to in the Global Voices aggregator. Through Technorati I then found this blog post about "Afghanistan's Greatest Girl Band," which includes MP3 clips of their cover song, "Burka Blue."
Did I mention that I love the internet?

This video is great! The future of women world-wide if these 7th century throwbacks get their way. Women don't be stupid - WAKE UP and smell the coffee! It's time to fight against the treatment of millions of Muslim women everywhere. Is your ''women's lib'' real or just talk? We will see how much women become involved...and fight back.
