Charles Liu

R, can you or Roland name one elected US politician that advocated politicizing of Los Angeles Olympics in the 1980's?

Did Martin Lee fight for the freedom of the Hong Kong people when Hong Kong was controlled by the British? Nope, in fact, he was groomed by the British to be an opposing force to be reckoned with after the hand over.

This is one of the reason why I had questioned the sincerity of those who claim to be pro-democracy in Hong Kong. Where were these pro-democracy people when Hong Kong was being colonized????? How come none of you were being thrown in jail like Gandhi? How come the sudden outpouring of democracy now when you had ZERO political freedom when Hong Kong was under the British and you had MORE political freedom in Hong Kong today than the combined 100 years under British rule?

There is more political freedom in Hong Kong today than there was at any moment in time during the British colonization. Colonization is Imprisonment. Communism is Democracy. Read the constitution.
