Tomorrow it starts: Blogging Journalism & Credibility: Battleground and Common Ground.
Click here for information on the audio webcast and IRC chat.
While the conference has ended up being controversial, having an open conference blog has been worth every flame and snark. We have kick-started an excellent discussion of serious issues, not just amongst the participants, but throughout the blogosphere and mainstream media.
Every single person in the room, everybody on the IRC and listening in on the webcast, and everybody who has posted a comment cares about the same fundamental thing: improving the quality of the public discourse, and thus strengthening (or one might say "repairing") our democracy.
hello, rebecca,

You're welcome. Somebody else linked to you and I've been tagging blog posts mentioning the conference as I come across them. I just tagged your "pajamas" post, too, since you said nice things about me. Flattery gets you everywhere!! ;-)
