J.D. Lasica, author of Darknet and founder of Ourmedia.org, is speaking now at the Berkman Center.
You can listen to the live webcast here.
I started reading Darknet over the weekend. After you get through the standard Lessig-esque issues in the first chapter, the rest of the book so far has been fascinating. He profiles a software pirate double-agent, etc., and takes us into the world of online content sharing & creation, with all its issues.
Ourmedia.org sounds like a great resource for Global Voices, providing a free place for bloggers around the world to store their photos, podcasts, video, and flash animations. Check it out.
