I read people daily and Hu's most important part of the speech is his urge to fellow comrades to use the internet for the purpose of cultural enrichment, improving knowledge, technology, etc. etc..People daily highlisted this.
But over at Xinhua and the rest of the news groups prefered to emphasize the "purifying part" completely ignoring his call for using the internet to improve technology.
Perhaps anti-Hu groups within state owned media already.
