"Chinese President Hu Jintao on Monday launched a campaign to rid the country's sprawling Internet of "unhealthy" content and make it a springboard for Communist Party doctrine, state television reported."

In China people are giving their personal lists of which internet companies are most lacking in their services. A couple of A-list Chinese bloggers weigh in on who is most "secondary"...
Somehow I have a hard time agreeing that a "tame" internet with controlled content is healthy.
It is sad that anyone can be so worried about what information is available. If what they offer has value, let people discover that value through comparison.
If what they have needs constant protection from knowledge - perhaps it is not the best option. Those unwilling to let others have what may be best, and so must hide other choices, are also controlled by the same inadequate dogma they protect.
